6061 Aluminum Audio System Components for a German Premium Brand
Huade manufactured the full set of visible 6061 aluminum components for a high-end German audio product, combining CNC machining with black baking paint, Ferrari red automotive paint, mirror polishing, and chrome plating.
One Audio Product, Multiple Luxury Finishing Routes
This project was not a single machined bracket or hidden mechanical part. The customer needed a complete set of visible components for a German premium audio system, with every part contributing to the final product appearance.
All parts were machined from 6061 aluminum. The black surfaces used baking paint, the red cylindrical body used Ferrari red automotive paint, and the reflective details used mirror polishing plus chrome plating.
The difficult part was keeping the whole set visually coherent. Paint, polish, chrome, machined edges, knobs, panels, and feet each have different process risks, but the final product has to feel like one premium audio assembly.
A Full Visible Component Set
The silver version highlights the brushed-looking body surfaces, mirror chrome trim, small front-panel hardware, and polished feet that all need careful cosmetic control.
CNC Machining Plus Paint, Polish, And Chrome
This case is a good example of why premium product manufacturing is not only about holding dimensions. The finishing route has to be planned before machining starts.
Black Baking Paint
Used on the audio control chassis and black panels to create a deep, controlled premium appearance with durable surface coverage.
Ferrari Red Automotive Paint
Applied to the red cylindrical body where the customer needed a saturated luxury color with automotive-grade visual impact.
Mirror Polishing + Chrome Plating
Used on reflective trim and foot components to create a bright mirror surface that could visually match high-end audio product expectations.
6061 CNC Machining
All components were machined from 6061 aluminum, giving the assembly a balance of light weight, stable machining, and strong finish compatibility.
Process Route
Machining Visible 6061 Components
The full component set was produced from 6061 aluminum, with machining focused on clean edges, consistent cylindrical geometry, flat panel fit, and smooth preparation for cosmetic finishing.
Surface Preparation Before Paint
Painted parts needed controlled sanding and cleaning before coating. Any machining mark, oil residue, or edge defect could show through the black baking paint or red automotive paint.
Premium Color Matching
The red finish used a Ferrari red automotive paint direction, requiring strong color saturation, smooth gloss behavior, and careful handling through curing and assembly.
Mirror Finish Before Chrome
Chrome-plated features relied on mirror polishing first. The reflective result depends heavily on the base polish, because plating will amplify scratches instead of hiding them.
What Had To Be Controlled
- Visible faces were treated as customer-facing product surfaces, not ordinary machined industrial parts.
- Painted and chrome-plated parts required separate handling routes to avoid scratches, fingerprints, dust, and contact marks.
- The final set had to look consistent across black, red, brushed-looking aluminum, mirror chrome, buttons, feet, and trim details.
- 6061 was selected because it machines cleanly and supports the paint, polishing, and plating route required for this audio assembly.
