CNC TURNING Services
Specializing in precision rotational components with accuracy levels up to ±0.005mm. From intricate shafts to large-scale cylindrical assemblies, we deliver excellence.
What is CNC Turning?
CNC Turning is a subtractive manufacturing process where a workpiece is held and rotated at high speeds in a chuck, while a stationary cutting tool moves along its axis to remove material and create highly precise cylindrical shapes.
Ideal for producing shafts, bushings, pins, and custom tubular fittings, CNC lathes deliver exceptional concentricity and smooth surface finishes. With our advanced live tooling capabilities, our multi-axis lathes can also perform secondary milling operations (like off-center holes or slots) without re-fixturing the part.
Key Advantages
- Perfect Concentricity: Essential for round, tubular, or symmetrical parts operating under high RPMs.
- Superior Finishes: Outstanding external and internal surface quality (up to Ra 0.4μm).
- High Efficiency: Extremely fast and cost-effective production rates for cylindrical geometries.
CNC Turning Capabilities
Huade Precision utilizes advanced CNC lathes and multi-axis turning centers to manufacture complex cylindrical parts with extreme dimensional stability.
Size Limitations
| Parameter | Metric Units | Imperial Units |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum Part Diameter | 431 mm | 17 in |
| Maximum Part Length | 990 mm | 39 in |
| Swing over the carriage | 350 mm | 13.7 in |
| Spindle through-hole | 40 mm | 1.5 in |
Design Standards
| Standard Feature | Capability |
|---|---|
| Elite Tolerance | ± 0.005 mm |
| Min. Turning Diameter | 0.5 mm |
| Surface Finish (Ra) | Up to 0.4 μm |

CNC Turning RFQ & FAQs
Everything you need to know about starting your custom CNC turning project with Huade Precision.
How do I submit an RFQ for CNC turning services?
Simply send us your 3D CAD files (STEP, IGES, STL) and 2D drawings via our Quote page. Our engineers will perform a free DFM review and provide a detailed price within 24 hours.
What is the standard lead time for turned parts?
For rapid prototyping, we can deliver turned components in 3-5 days. For high-volume production utilizing our automated bar-feeder lathes, timelines typically range from 1 to 3 weeks depending on quantity.
Can you combine turning and milling operations?
Yes! Our advanced multi-tasking CNC lathes feature live tooling, allowing us to perform milling operations (like drilling off-center holes or cutting slots) on the same machine without re-fixturing the part, saving you both time and cost.
